public interface CyShutdown

A service that will shutdown Cytoscape cleanly. Will fire a CytoscapeShutdownEvent such that all CytoscapeShutdownListener will be notified before actually shutting down.

Cytoscape Backwards Compatibility (API Interface): We expect that this interface will be used but not implemented by developers using this interface. As such, we reserve the right to add methods to the interface as part of minor version upgrades. We will not remove methods for any changes other than major version upgrades.

Calling this method indicates that the application should shutdown.

Parameters:

retVal - The return value with which to (eventually) call System.exit(int) with.

Calling this method indicates that the application should shutdown.

Parameters:

retVal - The return value with which to (eventually)

force - If true, force shutdown without prompting user call System.exit(int) with.
